Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how subscriptions to the SLK Engineering Suite (the "Service") can be cancelled and when refunds are available. It applies together with our Terms of Service.
1. Free trial
New organisations may start with a free trial. You will not be charged during the trial, and you are not obligated to subscribe. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, access to the calculation engines is simply paused — no payment is taken.
2. Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel at any time from your account's billing section, or by contacting us.
- When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period; you will not be charged again after that.
- After the period ends, access to the paid features stops. Your saved data remains available per our data-retention practices.
3. Refunds
We want you to be satisfied with the Service. Our refund terms:
- 14-day money-back guarantee — if you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund of that payment.
- Renewals — monthly and annual renewal charges are generally non-refundable, because you can cancel before a renewal to avoid it. If a renewal charged in error or you were unable to cancel in time, contact us — we review these case by case and act in good faith.
- Duplicate or accidental charges — refunded in full.
Refunds are processed by Paddle to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. How to request a refund or cancel
Contact us at support@slk-llc.com with the email address used at purchase and, if available, your Paddle order/receipt reference. You may also request assistance directly from Paddle via the receipt they email you after purchase.
5. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you.
